ABOUT

We are gospel-believing, Sabbath-keeping Baptists that gather in Ashaway, Rhode Island to glorify God together as a church family!  Join us weekly on Saturday mornings or Friday nights for worship.  Engage in our mid-week Bible Studies to go deeper in discipleship. Partner with us in events and programs like Operation Christmas Child as we carry out God’s mission to share the good news of the gospel to the ends of the earth! To get connected, you can email a pastor below or come and join us this coming weekend!

Where to Find Us

We’re located at 8 Church Street, Ashaway, Rhode Island, 02804. Join us at 7:00pm on Friday night for our Vespers Worship, or Saturday morning at 11:00am for our Sabbath Worship Gathering.

What to Expect When You Join Us

Our worship is rooted in Scripture, with a deep desire to honor and glorify God in all that we say and do when we gather together. Our Saturday Morning worship begins at 11:00am. We offer childcare for babies and preschool aged kids. We worship through prayer, singing hymns and contemporary songs, through sharing of testimonies, through hearing God’s Word read and preached. Afterwards, we walk over to our Parish House and enjoy a family meal together every Saturday! You can watch our past worship gatherings on our livestream archive.

Our Friday evening “Vespers” time of worship is a shortened version, often with more extended times of prayer, encouraging videos, and additional singing. We do not offer childcare, but we have a “Life Group” for High School and Middle School aged kids to hang out and study God’s Word together.

Our Church Covenant

Our church is made up of Covenant Members, regular attenders, and we often have visiting friends and family that join us for both our mid-week Bible Studies and weekly worship gatherings. Our Covenant Members share this covenant together:

Having been, as we trust, brought by divine grace into fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ as our savior from sin, we solemnly and joyfully covenant with one another–

  • To take the Bible as a “lamp to our feet and a light to our path”, giving special heed to the law of God as expounded by our savior in His sermon on the mount.
  • To maintain the public worship of God and the ordinances of his house.
  • To give as a voluntary and cheerful offering to the Lord, towards meeting the necessary expenses of the church, for the benefit of the poor, and the advancement of Christ’s kingdom in the world.
  • To walk together in Christ, who’s we are and whom we profess to serve, in brotherly love.
  • To exercise a Christian watchfulness over one another.
  • To try by precept and example, in all our family, social, and business relations, and everywhere, to maintain a Godly walk and conversation.
